Declaration on accessibility
This accessibility statement applies to the website published at www.lofts-sindelfingen.de.
The accessibility requirements are set out in Section 3 (1) to (4) and Section 4 of the Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0), which was issued on the basis of Section 12d of the Disability Equality Act (BGG).
The website is partially incompatible with the aforementioned requirements.
The contents listed below are not barrier-free for the following reasons:
Incompatibility with BITV 2.0
- People who are blind or have poor eyesight will probably not be able to perceive some of the content.
- Certain content is unlikely to be recognised by users who are colour-blind.
- The website does not have a translation of the main content in simple language.
- The website does not have a translation of the main content into sign language.
- There are no videos with subtitles.
- Not all navigation links have a recognisable text.
- The PDF files are not barrier-free.

Arbitration procedure
If no satisfactory solution has been found after your feedback to the above-mentioned contact, you can turn to the arbitration centre in accordance with Section 16 BGG. The BGG conciliation body has the task of supporting an out-of-court settlement of disputes between people with disabilities and federal public bodies on the subject of accessibility. The arbitration procedure is free of charge. No legal assistance is required. Instructions for use
Zooming / changing the size of the display of entire pages
These functions enlarge and reduce the entire page, including graphics and images:
Google Chrome:
Click the menu button at the top right (three-dot menu), then change the setting for ‘Zoom’ with + and -. Alternatively, use the key combination: CTRL and + (zoom in) and CTRL and – (zoom out), CTRL and 0 (restores the normal font size).
Firefox:
Click the menu button at the top right (three-dash menu), then change the setting for ‘Zoom’ with + or -. Alternatively, use the key combination: CTRL and + (zoom in) and CTRL and – (zoom out), CTRL and 0 (restores the normal font size).
Internet Explorer:
Click on the gear icon at the top right, then click on ‘Zoom’ and select the desired size. Alternatively, use the key combination: CTRL and + (enlarge) and CTRL and – (reduce), CTRL and 0 (restores the normal font size).
Changing the font
Google Chrome:
Click the menu button at the top right (three-dot menu) and select ‘Settings’. Scroll down to the ‘Display’ item.
The page zoom can be permanently set here.
The ‘Customise font’ function can be used to define different font sizes and display formats.
The minimum size can also be set here, which then applies to all pages.
Firefox:
Click on the menu at the top right (three-dash menu) and select ‘Settings’. On the following page, call up the menu item ‘Language and appearance’ and click on the “Advanced” button under ‘Fonts & colours’. Fonts and font sizes can be set there.
The minimum size should also be set here.
Deactivate the item ‘Allow pages to use custom fonts instead of the fonts selected above’ so that the pages are displayed in the selected font.
Internet Explorer:
In Internet Explorer, the selection of customisation options is limited. Zooming works as described above.
Click on the gear icon in the top right-hand corner, then click on ‘Internet options’ and select ‘Advanced’. Here you will find various customisation options for accessibility.
Change colour / contrast settings
Google Chrome:
Click the menu button at the top right (three-dot menu) and select ‘Settings’. In the ‘Settings’ menu, scroll to the very bottom of the page. Then click on ‘Advanced’. Scroll down a little further. Under the item ‘Accessibility’ there is a link ‘Add accessibility’.
One click takes you to the ‘chrome web store’ from Google.
There you will find the ‘Colour Enhancer’ tool, which you can add to the browser.
Once this tool has been installed, a coloured icon appears in the top right-hand corner of the browser menu bar. You can use this to start the tool and make further settings relating to the colour display.
Firefox:
Open the menu at the top right of the browser and select ‘Settings’.
Under the heading ‘Language and appearance’ and the item ‘Fonts & colours’, click on the ‘Colours’ button to adjust the colour settings. Here you can select clearly visible, high-contrast colour combinations. ‘Always’ should be selected for ‘Use colours selected above instead of page colours:’.

Search on the website
The website offers you a search function. You can use the search function to search for any words on the page. To do this, click on the magnifying glass symbol in the top right-hand corner. Then enter your desired search term in the input window and click on ‘Search’.
